Easter holidays would not be the same without our annual YMP trip.  The group mostly from Wales and England this year descended upon the Judah Africa Ministry Centre and in the standard 10 day window with help from Rainbow FM and other local charities managed to put up a community kitchen, new administration centre and a soon to be ACE school to support the local township.  Community support was higher than we had ever seen with a local building merchant and a crane company donating their services.  These two acts alone allowed for us to not only build the school which was our goal, but add the two other structures as well.  Just amazing what this small team managed to accomplish while hearing the good news of Jesus Christ at the same time.

The new location has put the containerized structures on a major roadway.  This has translated into a huge amount of curious people stopping to understand the construction and versatility of the building system.  2 churches and 2 orphanages have now signed up to use the container system for their needs along with 9 other projects in the Johannesburg area that are trying to raise funds to buy building straight out.  There has been so much 'traction' now, that we have had to form a small humanitarian company to take care of the orders.  Please pray for wisdom as we set up systems that will see hundreds of these structures constructed for the poor.  It seem that God has 'multiplied' the sacrificial efforts of a few who saw this as a way forward to help others.....




MIDDLE PARK & BEYOND

By the time you get this post, Middle park will be well on it's way towards setup.  With the creation of a new Scottish national YL camp, Middle Park has lost over 400 campers for this next summer.  HOWEVER, we are excited about having the space and freedom to continue to develop the work here specifically in Wales.  A new Washroom unit is under construction and will be ready for the August Camp.  Immediately following the camp, we will take 30 youth and adults back to Johannesburg on a YMP trip to add the second phase of the school in Kya Sands.  It is going to be a full summer and we would appreciate you prayers...

Thoughout this year the only thing constant is change, the one thing that never  changes is our goal to remain faithful to Christ and continue to do our part to build His kingdom either physically or spiritually.  Whether that is; continuing on with the YMP trips, building schools and orphanages through Hope for the Nations and Rainbow FM, creating affordable gated housing in South Africa via the new venture of CHS (Container Housing Solutions)  or even returning to Middle Park to keep the camp moving forward our focus is the same.   WE are HIS workmanship created to do good works IN Christ.  WE all have one life to live and WE all will continue to have an audience of only one that really matters, now and forever.  My prayer is that WE all continue to think about our time on earth here in that light…. As many of you are aware, we a re in transition.  What d oes that mean for a family of 5 now residing on 3 continents… No matter what we do it is going to be a long way home

There truly is no 'I' in Team.....

     Middle Park Camp      As we complete the take-down of the 2016 Middle Park Camp I must admit I am trying to figure out where the summer has gone.  (Normally in Wales it is on a Tuesday) (Kidding) More importantly how everything was setup, used, taken down and stored with such precision.  I can only attribute that to the remarkable team that has grown over the past 9 years of summer camp here in Middle Park now under the leadership of Howell & Nita Hodgett.   Not only was the Wales National MP3 camp held, but new to our calendar the Sporting Marvels group from the Rhonda Valley, the Farmers Community Network prayer meeting and a wedding.  Most work was completed this year by not only our regular volunteers but also a concerted effort by a group of local farmers who have adopted the camp and see its value in the local Christian community.  I must admit that as I washed the dishes for the MP3 camp and facilitated program events for the Sporting Marvels camp, I could se

Happy new year…!
