This newsletter is being written in my car as I am once again in a field outside of Welshpool sleeping in a tent. After a much needed break with my family in Venice, we have returned to start the ‘pre setup’ camp for the soon to follow YL / Urban Saints camps running through the month of August.

This year with the change of site location to what we believe would be an excellent permanent camp facility, we find ourselves setting up infrastructure again. I know a great number of you have come along to support this vision already and I want to assure you that so much has been done due to your generosity. All I can say is thank you.... We have dredged the pond so that the water quality is adequate to swim. We have excavated for the Blob tower and a new waterslide. We have created a cesspit, one of those often overlooked important priorities and a countless other things that need to happen before the relational aspect of ministry here begins.

IN AWE AND GRATITUDE
I have included the Lamentations verse in this news letter because today as I took a brief moment to actually enjoy the splendour of this place, I was reminded how good God is. Day by day when I wake up I enjoy the privilege of serving the most high God, of having the freedom to invest into the lives of others, and to see how God provides all the pieces of the puzzle if we are doing what we are supposed to do In Him.

In the past 24’s we have had so many little details taken care of... Scaffolding for the Blob platform, the donation of a tele-handler to taper the lake bed and install the fence posts. A Christian businessman who purchased a pump for the waterslide just so we can rent it for the summer.,... An electrician who over the winter painstakingly built and developed our new 3 phase power system detail after detail... But not only gifts of physical items, people have come together to graft, to put down denominational distinctive and to pick up a hammer or a shovel to bring hope to many youth that find life so sterile today.

AUGUST CAMPS
This year we will start with a discipleship camp August 12th for youth who want to go deeper while cleaning up the underbrush and wilderness edgeness of the property. This will be followed up by a full out Wyldlife camp starting August 17th. By relocating to this new site our capacity to serve youth in the UK will be a great deal higher than in previous years on the show field. In fact for 2012 we already have 180 new kids from Scotland booked in to participate...on top of our already growing number of Welsh youth..

PRAYER FOCUS
Please remember us this summer as we are definitely in the thick of it.

Please pray for every youth that show up to this site. From the gypsy youth that are coming to work on the camp setting up tents on August 8th, to the 14 American youth from North Carolina that have decided they wanted to spend their summer dredging a pond in Mid Wales while they learned a little more about their Christian journey and servant hood, to the many youth who will encounter the gospel for the first time this month.

Pray for the leadership of the Eden project and Forge programs as they come down to evaluate what makes a YL camp different and consider their involvement in what we do in the future.

Please continue to be creative in passing on ideas and support for the camp infrastructure and toys.

Please pray for my energy as once camp is set up I have the privilege again of doing the funny parts of program.

IN CONCLUSION
His mercies are new every morning. My prayer is that you see them through eyes tuned to the Spirit of God moving in your life.

In His Service,

Bill

24 "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him." 25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. 26 It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. 27 It is good for one to bear the yoke in youth, 28 to sit alone in silence when the Lord has imposed it, 29 to put one's mouth to the dust (there may yet be hope), 30 to give one's cheek to the smiter, and be filled with insults. 31 For the Lord will not reject forever. 32 Although he causes grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love; 33 for he does not willingly afflict or grieve anyone."
Lamentations 3:24-33
