New Look, New Name, New Era, Same Mission

2013 will mark the re-start of the TENT charity for the management of the Middle Park Camp in Wales. We have been providing Young Life Style camps for youth since 2008 near Welshpool. The camp now has a formal trusteeship to set its direction and development for the camps national future, working in conjunction with Urban Saints Wales, Hafwy Trust, YWAM , YFC and Young Life International.  The trust is designed to hold as a core value the desire to see youth "loved in their world and encouraged to know Jesus Christ in a flexible and relevant way.

It has always been my desire to build the infrastructure of outreach and discipleship in Wales in such a way as to outlive my involvement here. I am so happy to see this major step in moving this work in Wales beyond the Bill Hebner Show, and more about the Kingdom owning this.

For those of you who would like to support this governing charity, donations can be made in the UK via the TENT trust directly, while from Canada the camp and mission projects can still be supported via the Trinity Baptist Legacy Foundation.  Donations may be made towards capital projects or scholarships for youth lacking the means to get to camp.

Thoughout this year the only thing constant is change, the one thing that never  changes is our goal to remain faithful to Christ and continue to do our part to build His kingdom either physically or spiritually.  Whether that is; continuing on with the YMP trips, building schools and orphanages through Hope for the Nations and Rainbow FM, creating affordable gated housing in South Africa via the new venture of CHS (Container Housing Solutions)  or even returning to Middle Park to keep the camp moving forward our focus is the same.   WE are HIS workmanship created to do good works IN Christ.  WE all have one life to live and WE all will continue to have an audience of only one that really matters, now and forever.  My prayer is that WE all continue to think about our time on earth here in that light…. There truly is no 'I' in Team.....

     Middle Park Camp      As we complete the take-down of the 2016 Middle Park Camp I must admit I am trying to figure out where the summer has gone.  (Normally in Wales it is on a Tuesday) (Kidding) More importantly how everything was setup, used, taken down and stored with such precision.  I can only attribute that to the remarkable team that has grown over the past 9 years of summer camp here in Middle Park now under the leadership of Howell & Nita Hodgett.   Not only was the Wales National MP3 camp held, but new to our calendar the Sporting Marvels group from the Rhonda Valley, the Farmers Community Network prayer meeting and a wedding.  Most work was completed this year by not only our regular volunteers but also a concerted effort by a group of local farmers who have adopted the camp and see its value in the local Christian community.  I must admit that as I washed the dishes for the MP3 camp and facilitated program events for the Sporting Marvels camp, I could se

Happy new year…! (better late than never)

Happy new year…!
